Two seated shoemakers concentrate on their work in Plaça de sa Quartera, Inca, each holding a shoe and hand tools. Created by Rosa G. Ferrándiz and inaugurated in 2003, the monument honours the craftspeople behind the town’s footwear tradition. The woman and man are shown working by hand, bringing attention to the skill and patient labour involved in making shoes. The dedication extends the tribute to all the city’s shoemakers.
