A slender bronze sculpture by Joan Miró rises above the ivy in Marivent Gardens, Palma, combining a hollow rounded shape with a long upright stem. It is part of the twelve-work bronze collection displayed among the gardens’ Mediterranean trees and clipped hedges. Opened to the public in 2017, the gardens bring Miró’s art into an outdoor setting where visitors can walk around the sculptures and see their shapes change from different viewpoints.
