Three stylised bull heads rise together in Bous by Pere Pujol, their sweeping horns creating a different outline from each angle. The plaque identifies the work using the Catalan word for bulls. Pujol’s Bous sculptures are represented in Mallorca’s public art collections, including Es Baluard, and one was included in the sculpture park inaugurated at Port de Sóller in 2007. Here, the tightly grouped heads and contrasting patinas draw attention to the animals’ long faces and curved horns.
