The 1930s was an era prior to the explosive growth of tourism in the Balearic Islands that occurred in the post-World War II era. At that time, any existing club would likely have been quite exclusive, serving a relatively small, local community of sailing enthusiasts, or possibly visitors from mainland Spain or other parts of Europe who traveled to Mallorca.
